Contact your wireless service provider to see if your cell phone plan includes web browsing to avoid paying Internet access charges.

If you are not currently enrolled in Online Banking, then enroll now.

After logging into online banking, select the options tab. Enter your cell phone carrier, your mobile phone number, and select a 4-digit Mobile PIN. The system will then send a link to your cell phone with a one-time user password. Click on the link, enter your online banking user code and your 4 digit Mobile PIN. It's that easy!
What is Mobile Banking?
Mobile Banking is a wireless Internet based service that provides you access to your account(s) via your web-enabled phone.

What can I do with Mobile Banking?
You can access your account balances, view transactions and transfer funds between your Armed Forces Bank of California accounts.

Is there a fee for Mobile Banking?
Mobile Banking is a free service. Customers using Mobile Banking should contact their wireless service provider to see if their cell phone plan includes web browsing to avoid paying Internet access charges.

Is Mobile Banking secure?
Yes, Mobile Banking is protected by the same technology as Online Banking. Both are secured using SSL and 128-bit encryption.

What do I need to use Mobile Banking?
You must be enrolled in Armed Forces Bank of California Online Banking and have a web-enabled cell phone that can securely access the Internet.

Can I use Mobile Banking on my phone?
All devices that have a mobile web browser are able to access our Mobile Banking service. This includes flip phones, smart phones, iPhones, iPods, PDAs and handheld computers.

Does it matter which carrier I use for my wireless/mobile service?
No. All major service providers (Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, Alltel, and T-Mobile) or any wireless carrier that allows you to access the mobile web is permitted.

How do I access Mobile Banking?
Log on to Online Banking through afbca.com and select "Options" to enroll in Mobile Banking. You will enter your cell phone carrier, your mobile phone number and select a 4-digit Mobile PIN number. The system will then send you a link to your cell phone with a one-time user password. Click on the link and you will be prompted to enter your online banking Access ID (user code) and your 4-digit Mobile Pin number.

How do I view my accounts in Mobile Banking?
After you log in, you will be presented a list of your accounts and account balances. To see additional information about a particular account, click the account number link.

How do I view account transactions in Mobile Banking?
After accessing a specific account, you will see options for Balance, Pending Activity, Transactions and Transfers.

Do I have to store the link to Mobile Banking?
Each time you log on to Mobile Banking we will send you a text message with a new one-time password imbedded in the link for your next Mobile Banking login. You will use that along with your Access ID and Mobile PIN number.

What if I didn't save the text message with the link?
Go to https://ecom.dfckc.com/mbi_mbi1151/mbi1151.aspx?rt=122243017&RID=Launch. Select "Request One-Time Password" and input your access ID. A new link with the one-time password will be sent to your mobile phone.

Who do I contact if I am having trouble logging into Mobile Banking?

If I transfer funds from one account to another, will the transaction process immediately?
Yes. Fund transfers performed through Mobile Banking are processed the very same way in which traditional Online Banking transactions are processed.

What if I change my mobile device's phone number?
Log on to Online Banking through afbca.com and select "Options" to update your mobile device information. The system will then send you a link to your cell phone with a one-time user password.

What if my mobile device is lost or stolen?
We will never send full account numbers or other personal information via our Mobile Banking service. If your mobile device is lost or stolen, no one can access your account without knowing your unique 4-digit Mobile PIN number and access ID. You will want to contact your mobile carrier immediately to report the loss or theft. Log on to Online Banking through afbca.com and select "Options" to update your mobile device information.
